Research that found a wider audience
Latin Lawyer had recently completed its LL250 Elite ranking research. This project aimed at reassuring the market, and the candidate firms in particular, that the criteria and the ranking process are fair, building trust in the results and giving the audience something to learn from.
It was discussed how best to achieve this. The findings needed someone to interpret the results of the ranking in a more engaging manner to reach broader audiences, in particular aspiring Managing Partners.
We proposed a natural conversation with a reputable legal consultant. The discussion explored the parameters of the research, what the numbers showed and what they meant for firms in the region, and it worked as promotional content for both parties at the same time.
Both Latin Lawyer and the consultant were pleased with the engagement it generated for each of them. The collaboration showcased their expertise, reached a wider audience than either had alone, and created connections within the legal community. It also gave them a format they can repeat with the next piece of research.
A framework for consultants to pitch projects with
Lexington Consultants, a management consultancy for professional services, approached us because they felt profitability was a key question in law firms, yet it came up too rarely when discussing with clients.
They wanted partners to better understand the difference between short and long term profit, and to thoroughly explore what drives each.
To support their thought leadership content, we broke the subject into the seven levers of profitability and built a series of short videos, one for each lever, explained in plain terms and setting out the steps a partner can take that week.
Our client now has a resource its consultants use when pitching to firms facing this challenge.
The seven recordings give client and consultant a shared framework, help shape the proposal, and position the consultants as confident experts who share their insights and earn trust.
